Folio Defence ("we", "us") operates this website and provides investigation and intelligence services. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. Where required, our data-protection contact acts as controller for personal data submitted through this site.
We process submissions to assess and respond to your request — legal bases: consent (which you give by ticking the box and submitting) and our legitimate interests in evaluating and triaging enquiries, and where relevant the performance of a contract. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect prior processing. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making with legal effect.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within the statutory timeframe (generally one month under GDPR; 45 days under CCPA).
Tip/request submissions are retained only as long as needed to assess and act on them, and to meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Client account data is retained for the life of the account.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with our own personnel and, where lawful and necessary, with law-enforcement or public-interest bodies. Any international transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).
Submissions are stored encrypted at rest and treated as untrusted input: we never execute, follow, or render content from a submission automatically, and findings are independently corroborated before any action. Attachments are not accepted through this site.
By submitting a tip or request you confirm that the information is provided lawfully and in good faith, that you are entitled to share it, and that you will not submit unlawful, defamatory or malicious content. The site and its public intelligence are provided "as is" for general information and do not constitute professional advice. We may decline or remove any submission at our discretion. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
